About this Specialization

OEMs are on the lookout for engineers with innovative ideas, and industry-relevant skill sets to push research and development in automotive embedded systems forward. Skill-Lync offers this specialization in Embedded Software Development and Validation for Electric Vehicle Applications to have you developing, programming, and simulating embedded systems for EVs at an industry level.

There are 10 courses in this specialization designed to give you an in-depth understanding of embedded C language, bare metal programming, developing device drivers, software verification and validation, and model-based development. You will also get to work with MATLAB and Simulink to model, simulate, and analyze complex physical models. This specialization will also expose you to embedded C standards, AUTOSAR, and Misra C guidelines followed in the industry.

Pradeepkumar Keloth
Pradeepkumar Keloth is the Principal Consultant for Electrification at Skill-Lync, and holds a Masters in Instrumentation and Control Systems from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut.
He has 30+ years of experience working in the field, and has a demonstrated understanding of systems, modeling, and simulation in the automotive industry. Previously, he was the Head of Engineering at Bosch, where he headed a team of more than 300 engineers working on powertrain systems for hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Pradeep has extensive experience working with advanced modeling and simulation concepts for virtual prototyping, model based development, virtualized verification and validation, and advanced control function development. He is currently a senior IEEE member, and on the board of studies for many colleges.
Vatsal Shah
Vatsal Shah is the Associate Director of the Electric Vehicle domain at Skill-Lync, and graduated from the Nirma Institute of Technology with a Masters in Power Electronics and Drives.
He has over 14 years of experience working in both academia and the industry. His expertise in the EV domain are demonstrated in the many courses he has developed for Skill-Lync. He is also the brains behind the development of an electric car and scooter at Skill-Lync.
Jegan Amirthalingam
Jegan Amirthalingam is the Associate Director of the Embedded Domain at Skill-Lync, and graduated with a Masters in Automotive Electronics from the PSG College of Technology.
He has more than 11 years of experience working in corporate and academia. In the past, he has overseen a funded project in building a formula student electric race car, and also participated in FSAE Italy 2015 and FORMULA GREEN 2017 India. Jegan has established an Automotive Electronics and control research laboratory focusing on Rapid Control Prototyping and Hardware in the loop simulation (in association with Mathworks and NI system). He has also developed a competency framework for meeting the needs of Automotive Business Unit in verticals such as Embedded System, AUTOSAR and Model based development.
