  • Telecommunications Engineer 

Telecommunications Engineers are responsible for designing, performing, security, and integrating telecommunication devices and services. The devices they work with include switches, telecom towers, routers, fibre-optic cable, VoIP (voice over internet protocol), radio, telegraph, and microwave communication arrangements. Knowledge of telecommunication devices and their usage and functionality is essential, as well as networking skills and troubleshooting abilities.

The average salary of a Telecommunications Engineer in India is approximately INR 33,000 per month. With increased skills and experience, salaries can exceed INR 50,000 monthly. 

  • Electronics Engineer

You will design, develop, test, and maintain electronic devices and electricity-powered systems as an Electronics Engineer. This will require working with capacitors, resistors, diodes, semiconductors, and transistors. You should have a strong interest in technology and excellent problem-solving skills. You may work in a public or private sector team or as a self-employed engineer.

  • Electronics Design Engineer

The job of an Electronics Design Engineer involves designing and developing electronics systems for various applications. These systems may include complex circuits, communication systems, navigation systems, power generation systems, radar systems, and electric motors.

  • Field Test Engineer

  • Technical Support Engineer

This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of networking. The average salary for a Technical Support Engineer is INR 27,750 per month. 

  • Electronics Technician

As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for analysing the performance of electronic devices and reporting the results. You must be able to design, repair, assemble, install, configure, and update existing electronic systems while adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards. Additionally, you must educate people on the safe usage and maintenance of electronic systems.

  • Service Engineer

Service Engineers provide technical and customer support for installed electronics and telecommunication systems. They handle various tasks such as design, installation, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of the systems. 

They must accurately estimate the time and cost for a successful installation, maintenance, and repair. Service Engineers must also examine potential hazards and failures in the system, diagnose them, and then fix them. Furthermore, they must prepare reports and submit documentation of their service.
