AIM:To Create a Floor plan, Footing detail and Isometric view using AutoCad.
INTRODUCTION:
In this challanges,By using Autocad we are going to create Floor plan,Footing details and isometric view.This will give more idea of using various commands like rectangle,polylines,move,copy,offset,snap mode,ortho mode.
1)Cross Section Of Load Bearing Wall Over Spread Footing
PROCEDURE:
Step by step procedure are as follows:
Enter Command 'Rectangle'.
Specificy the first corner of the rectangle.
Enter the length:0.9
Enter the weidth:0.25
Specify another point.
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be A.
Specify the next point (@0.20,0),(@0,0.40),(@0.05,0),(@0,0.60),(@0.30,0)(@0,-0.60),(@0.05,0),(@0,-0.40),(@0.05,0),(@0,-0.40).
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be B.
Specify the next point (@0,0.05),(@0.30,0),(@0,-0.50).
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be C.
Specify the next point (@0,0.1),(@0.30,0),(@0,-0.1).
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be D.
Specify the next point (@-0.30,0),(@-0.05,0),(@-1.15,0),(@0,-0.15),(@1.15,0).
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be E.
Specify the next point (@0,-0.30),(@0,0.15),(@0.30,0),(@0,0.15),(@0.30,0),(@0,0.15),(@0.30,0).
Command Line Enter.
Let another point be F.
Specify the next point (@1,0),(@0,-0.60),(@-0.95,0).
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
2)Cross Section Of Isolated Footing
PROCEDURE:
Enter 'Line' Command.
Specify base line point.
Specify point (@1,0),(@0,0.15),(@-0.25,0.38),(@0,1.60),(@0.24,0),(@0,1.60),(@-0.25,-0.38),(@0,-0.15).
Press 'Esc'.
Command Line Enter.
Specify another point B.
Specify next point (@0.04,0),(@0,-1.96),(@-0.38,0),(@0,0.04).
Press 'Esc'.
Command Line Enter.
Specify another point B.
Specify next point (@0.04,0),(@0,-1.96),(@0.38,0),(@0,0.04).
Press 'Esc'.
Command Line Enter.
Specify another point @0.04,0 at point B.
Specify point(@0,0.20),(@0.16,0).
Press 'Esc'.
Command Offset Enter.
Specify distance at 0.20.
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
3)Line Diagram Of Two Bedroom Building
The step are as follows,
Command Line Enter.
Specify the point B.
Specify point at B(@-3.6,0),(@0,3.6),(@0,0.9),(@1,0),(@0,-0.9),(@4.2,0),(@0,-3.6),(@-4.6,0),(@0,-0.9),(@1,0),(@0,0.9).
Press 'Esc'.
Specify Line at A (@0,-1).
Specify Lie at B (@0,0.9).
Specify the Line c,d and e,f.
Command Offset at the distance 0.3.
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
4)Cross Section Of Load Bearing Wall Showing Foundation Details
PROCEDURE:
Step by step procedure are as follows:
Enter Command 'Rectangle'.
Specificy the first corner of the rectangle.
Enter the length:0.9
Enter the weidth:0.45
Specify another point.
Command Line Enter.
Specify the point B.
Specify point at B(@0.15,0),(@0,0.40),(@0.05,0),(@0,0.30),(@0.05,0),(@0,0.60),(@0.40,0),(@0,-0.60),(@0.05,0),(@0,-0.30),(@0.05,0),(@0,-0.40).
Press 'Esc'.
Command Line Enter.
Specify the point C.
Specify point at c(@0.05,0),(@0,1),(@0.30,0),(@0,-1).
Press 'Esc'.
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
5)Isometric View Of Steps
PROCEDURE:
The step are as follows,
Command Ds in command line enter.
Upclick snap on and grid on options.
Tick on isometric snap in snap type.
Command PL and press enter.
Specify start point a.
Take isoplane left.
Specify point 1,curser towards NW.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 0.15,curser towards N.
Specify point 1,curser towards SE.
Specify point 0.15,curser towards E.
Command PL enter.
Specify the start point b.
Take isoplane top.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards NE.
Specify point 1,curser towards NW.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards SW.
Command Co and press enter.
Select the complete step and enter.
Select base point b and place it 4 times at position c,d,e,f.
Command line enter.
Specify the next point g.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 0.15,curser towards S.
Command Line enter.
Specify the next point h.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards NE.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards SW.
Command line and join the point g and h.
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
6)Isometric View Of Gable Wall
PROCEDURE:
The step are as follows,
Command Ds in command line enter.
Upclick snap on and grid on options.
Tick on isometric snap in snap type.
Command PL and press enter.
Specify start point a.
Take isoplane left.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards NW.
Specify point 3,curser towards N.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards SE.
Specify point 3,curser towards E.
Command PL enter.
Specify the start point a.
Take isoplane top.
Specify point 1,curser towards NE.
Specify point 1,curser towards NE.
Specify point 1,curser towards NE.
Delete line BC.
Command PL and press enter.
Specify start point b.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 2.42,curser towards N.
Take isoplane top.
Specify point 1,curser towards NE.
Specify point 2.42,curser towards E.
Command PL and press enter.
Specify start point c.
Take isoplane left.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards NW.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 2.12,curser towards N.
Command line enter.
Specify the point a.
Take isoplane top.
Specify point 1.5,curser towards NE.
Take isoplane right.
Specify point 3.25,curser towards E.
Command line enter.
Specify the point d.
Take isoplane left.
Specify point 0.30,curser towards NW.
Command line enter.
Specify the point d,e,f.
Command Line Enter.
Join the line e,g.
Give the dimension as per drawing using dimension command from the command bar.
RESULT:
Created a Floor plan,Footing details and Isometric view using Autocad and had a good understanding about various tools in Autocad using Rectangle,lines,polylines,copy,move,offset.
