Course Overview

Using composite materials for construction offers many advantages over the conventionally used steel and reinforced cement concrete, especially in the case of multi-storey buildings. Design and analysis of multi-storey buildings can be done using a software tool called ETABS.This course covers the concepts involved in the analysis and design of multi-storey composite structures ranging from basic to advanced levels under different loading conditions using ETABS.

By taking this course, learners will…

  • Gain deeper knowledge on tall building constructions
  • Understand the design procedure and material optimization in tall buildings
  • Get an established understanding of composite structures
  • Understand the fundamentals of building composite design using ETABS software and composite deck floor design using ComFlor software.
  • Complete challenges and projects designed by industry experts, which will require the practical application of the concepts learnt throughout this course.

Who can enroll in this course?
